The Bunbury is a place for you to be whomever you want to be. The name stems from Oscar Wilde's play, 'The Importance of Being Earnest'. In the play, it's a way to escape responsibilities and reality, but here it’s a space to collaborate with someone who wants to make your pastry fantasies come to fruition. Beyond that, our mission is to foster long lasting relationships between you - our consumer - with the farmers and vendors of the region by buying directly from the source and creating products that are memorable.

Based out of Los Angeles, I'm a pastry chef who enjoys creating and maintaining fantasies through food and travel. I've been in the restaurant industry for most of my adult life in one facet or another, but the past five years have been dedicated to bread, pastries, and confections. When I'm not in the bakeshop, you'll find me - whether physically or through the pages of a book -  in some other part of the world.

If you'd like more information on catering, events, and special orders please leave me a message. Check out my gallery for examples of my work & spaces that inspire me.
